Gold jumps Rs 1,300, silver rises Rs 3,500

New Delhi: Gold prices jumped by Rs 1,300 to Rs 1,32,900 per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday amid firm global trends, according to the All India Sarafa Association. The precious metal of 99.9 per cent purity had closed at Rs 1,31,600 per 10 grams on Thursday.
In the local bullion market, silver surged by Rs 3,500 to Rs 1,83,500 per kilogram from previous close of Rs 1,80,000 per kg. In the international market, spot gold increased by $15.10, or 0.36 per cent, to $4,223.76 per ounce, while silver was trading 1.82 per cent higher at $58.17 per ounce.
